Overview

ISC Education, in partnership with Lancaster University, is pleased to announce an exclusive scholarship pool of £2,000 each for exceptional students from ISC Education.

These are joint, exclusive awards where ISC Education will review applications, close the pool, and directly nominate the most outstanding candidates to Lancaster University based on academic and personal merit.

Who can Apply

In order to be eligible, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • ISC Membership: Must be registered as an ISC Member, submit their application through ISC Education, and have their Lancaster University postgraduate study application formally attached to ISC Education.
  • Academic Background: Possess an excellent academic record with a GPA of 3.2/4.0 or higher (or equivalent).
  • Eligible Programmes: Have received an offer for a full-time postgraduate Master’s programme at Lancaster University starting September 2026.
  • Exclusions: Undergraduate courses, distance learning programmes, PhD, MPhil, or DBA programmes are not eligible.
  • Fee Status & Funding: Be classified by the University as an overseas fee payer. Candidates must possess sufficient funds to cover the remaining net tuition fees, full living expenses, and visa/travel costs associated with studying in the UK.
  • No Deferrals: Must commence studies at the University in September 2026. The scholarship award cannot be deferred to a subsequent academic year.

Important Note on Withdrawal: If a scholarship recipient withdraws from their academic programme at Lancaster University after enrolment, the scholarship will be fully revoked, and the student will be liable to pay any outstanding tuition fees calculated up to the formal date of withdrawal.

How to Apply

This is a highly competitive selection process. To secure your slot, please ensure you complete the following steps before the deadline:

  1. Submit your Application & SOP: Fill out the registration form and upload your Statement of Purpose (SOP) via the official ISC portal: ISC Student Support Center.
  2. Application Deadline: ISC Education will officially close the application portal on 30 June 2026.
  3. Selection & Nomination: ISC will review all submissions based on GPA, IELTS, and SOP quality. The top-performing candidates will be nominated directly to Lancaster University.

1. What is the value of the award and can it be combined with other funding?
  • The scholarship is a £2,000 award applied directly as a discount towards tuition fees for the first year of a full-time postgraduate taught Master’s programme at Lancaster University, starting September 2026.
  • Combinable Policy: Unlike standard restrictive awards, this scholarship CAN be held in conjunction (stacked) with other Lancaster University scholarships or external funding awards, provided that the total combined scholarship amount does not exceed 100% of the actual tuition fee.

  • ISC Education will announce the final decisions via email on 10 July 2026.
  • Lancaster University will make its best endeavours to input the scholarship details onto each successful student’s Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) record for UK student visa application purposes.
3. What are the Ambassadorial Duties and Terms & Conditions?
  • Ambassadorial Duties: By accepting the award, the scholar agrees to support ISC Education and Lancaster University by helping with future student outreach, being available for testimonials, photos, or videos for marketing purposes, and engaging in digital content creation (e.g., student blogging or social media takeovers) if requested.
  • General Terms: Lancaster University’s general international recruitment scholarships terms and conditions apply to this award. If a student withdraws post-enrolment, the scholarship will be revoked, and any outstanding net fees must be paid.
