About Bucks New University
Bucks was awarded full university status in 2007. Since then, it has sustained an extensively-equipped learning resource centres in High Wycombe and Uxbridge campuses. It is the only university in the UK to combine state-of-the-art simulation laboratories with the expertise of a moulage specialist who is skilled in applying mock, and often gorily realistic, injuries for training purposes of nursing and healthcare students. The university has also invested in an Elite S812 flight simulator for Private and Commercial Piloting students. Moreover, a new Cyber Resilience Centre dedicated to allow students to focus on security issues using specialist computing technology, will soon be launched at the University Campus Aylesbury Vale (UCAV).
